Klean Kanteen Cozy

I love my new Klean Kanteen that I snatched from my mom... :) It was making my hands really cold though (and I was dropping it A LOT!), so I made a cozy for it:


It was originally supposed to be one piece that fit like a sleeve...but I measured wrong (I really need to work on my measuring skills!) So I added the buttons, I kind of like how it turned out.

Best part? It has a handle!

I'm back!

T-shirt Recon to Skirt

Today was the first time I busted out my trusty sewing machine in...well, it's longer than I care to mention. But I'm addicted all over again. I tried my hand at a cute t-shirt to skirt recon that I'm quite satisfied with. I've been enjoying wearing skirts made out of t-shirt material lately, so I thought why not?

I get addicted to browsing through Craftster every once and a while and decided to use an idea I saw there a while back.A little shorter and I think it would look really cute with tights. What do you think?

Chocolate Cake for Breakfast

Justification? Waking up early to run 2 miles and eating a banana, blueberries, and oatmeal before hand.

Working out always makes me really hungry!

I have a feeling that this week is going to be fantastic, I have no idea why, it's just a feeling. I'm so excited though.

A friend and I were wondering around Michael's and found some cute plaster figurines=instant painting party.

The best part? They were on sale for 13 cents. Definitely can't beat that!

The best way to spend 9 hours in a car...

...is by reading aloud to whoever is in the car. Of course this only works if you are not alone...

Today my bf and I drove home from his parent's place and spent the ride reading "A Walk in the Woods" by Bill Bryson to each other.
Wow, who knew it would be so funny? And why did it take me so long to discover this gem?

The only downfall: getting a scratchy throat from talking so much. But well worth it, plus you get used to it!

We're about halfway through the book and I can't wait to read the rest.
